ATTEMPTING TO BLOG AGAIN

I’m very encouraged by what has happened after I was forced to go on line to sell my pottery. That is, if I wanted to continue making a contribution to the art world. While it is not a spectacular amount of sales, I find it amazing to be sending pieces to people in New York, Maine, Georgia, Kansas, Texas, California, Oregon and others. I’m having a hard time keeping a well stocked inventory of pieces. When I retired ten years ago and started making pottery, I had some years when I made pieces that not many people wanted to buy but I continued on. Now, closing in on my 80th birthday, I have created several lines of pieces that I like to make and please me that also please others. I am very excited about the next 10 years.

Never having been much of one to talk, I’m much more adept at making pottery than blogging. My life has taught me to not say much and especially to never reveal anything about my self. So this will be a real challenge for me.
