CLAYFOLK REIMAGINED
We held our Clayfolk Reimagined show and sale in a parking lot in Grants Pass. Eleven professional artists showed their work to faithful customers who bought charming mugs, colorful bowls, plates and comical fishes. The day was sunny. My daughter manned the booth wearing a N95 mask which allowed me to show my work even though I could not be in the booth much of the time. There were enough people there, who braved the pandemic, to re-affirm that I was a potter and had something of value to offer to others. I need that engagement to keep making pottery. For at least for me, if I can’t find a home for my creations (I can’t bear to throw them away), there is no reason to make them,
